President Donald Trump has reportedly been awarded over $120,000 in attorney fees from Stormy Daniels by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

The 45th President was formerly arrested and indicted on 34 felony counts on Tuesday afternoon, as Valiant News reported, by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. The charges related to alleged hush money payed to by porn star Stormy Daniels, with Trump allegedly having fallen victim to an extortion scheme in 2016.

However, during the indictment, news broke that the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals had awarded Trump $121,962.56 in attorney fees, according to tweets by both Donald Trump Jr and Eric Trump, the sons of the former President.

“LOL glad she’s out there saying her T-shirt sales are booming, she’ll be able to afford to pay Trump!” Trump Jr quipped when revealing the news just after 3PM Eastern Time. The fees relate to an unsuccessful appeal by Daniels in her defamation suit against Trump.

In March, the Appeals Court had awarded Trump $245,209.67, along with upholding a figure of $292,052.33 for his fees incurred in the lawsuit, with Trump describing the winnings as being a “complete and total victory and vindication for, and of me.”

Combined with the fees previously decided by the courts, Daniels now owes Trump well over $620,000.

The former President said that the defamation lawsuit against him was a “purely political stunt that never should have been started, or allowed to happen,” and argued that the case in total had been “nothing but a disaster” for Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, and her lawyer, Michael Avenatti.

The suit was also a “total waste of court time and resources, ending up with her owing me a large and growing amount in attorney fees that never needed to have been spent, especially since as I have stated many times, I never had an affair with her – nor would I have ever wanted to (even in her wildest imagination!).”
