A 19-year-old man was arrested Sunday after police said he damaged a memorial for Charlie Kirk outside Turning Point USA headquarters in Phoenix.

According to the source report, video from the scene showed a man moving through the memorial area, knocking over flowers, vases, flags and other tributes left by mourners. The report said a bystander intervened and pulled the man away before police took him into custody.

Phoenix police identified the suspect as Ryder Corral, according to department spokesperson Sgt. Philip Krynsky, as cited in the report. Corral was booked into the Maricopa County Jail on one count of criminal damage and one count of disorderly conduct.

No serious injuries were reported in connection with the confrontation at the memorial, police said, according to the report.

## Memorial Draws Crowds After Kirk’s Killing

The memorial had reportedly grown outside Turning Point USA’s Phoenix headquarters as supporters gathered to honor Kirk, the organization’s founder.

The source report states that officers were already in the area managing traffic because of the large number of people visiting the site.

Kirk, 31, was described in the report as having been shot and killed days earlier while speaking at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. He was taken to Timpanogos Regional Hospital and pronounced dead after being struck by a single bullet, according to the report.

## Source Report Links Arrest to Earlier Shooting Suspect’s Clothing

The report also noted that Corral appeared in arrest footage wearing a black shirt featuring an American flag and eagle design. It compared that shirt to clothing allegedly worn by Tyler Robinson, who the report identifies as the man accused in Kirk’s killing.

Authorities had released surveillance images of Robinson wearing a black graphic shirt, sunglasses and a hat, according to the source report. Robinson was reportedly arrested Friday after a 33-hour manhunt.

That clothing comparison has circulated online, but the source report does not state that police alleged any connection between Corral and Robinson beyond the visual similarity of the shirt. Any such connection would require confirmation from law enforcement.

## Charges Are Allegations

Corral has been charged, but the counts reported by police are allegations at this stage. The available source material does not include a court filing, plea, attorney statement or further comment from Corral.

Human editors should verify booking records, police statements and any court updates before publication.
