Charles Barkley Doubles Down on Brutal Attack on Americans Boycotting Bud Light – Daily Political Newswire
Charles Barkley, a former NBA superstar, criticized those in America who have chosen to boycott Bud Light following the beer company’s collaboration with a contentious transgender influencer earlier this year.
“So I’m gonna buy some drinks for y’all and I’m gonna buy Bud Light,” Barkley said at an event in California this past weekend. “Hey, let me tell you something. All you rednecks or a**holes who don’t want to drink Bud Light, f*** y’all. Hey, y’all can’t cancel me!”
“Hey, I ain’t worried about getting canceled because let me tell you something, if y’all fire me and gimme all that money, I’m gonna be playing golf every f***ing day,” Barkley continued. “So listen, as I said last night, if you’re gay, God bless you. If you’re trans, God bless you. And if you have a problem with them – f*** you.”
NEW: Charles Barkley defends Bud Light and calls critics of the beer brand “rednecks” and “assholes” during a profanity laced rant at a bar in Lake Tahoe, California.

At a golf event on Saturday, Barkley echoed similar sentiments, strongly advocating for the beer brand.
“I want y’all to drink this f***ing beer,” he said. “I want y’all to drink this f***ing beer. I got three cases of Bud Light.”
“Hey, and I want to say this — if you’re gay, bless you,” he continued. “If you’re transgender, bless you. And, if you have a problem with that, f*** you!”
Bud Light has experienced a significant sales slump and enduring boycotts ever since it chose to collaborate with a transgender influencer. Following the public revelation of this partnership on social media, which commanded media attention for weeks, Anheuser-Busch, the parent company of Bud Light, saw its market value plunge by tens of billions of dollars.
Responding to the influencer’s allegations that the company failed to shield him from the surge of online backlash, Anheuser-Busch issued a response last month.
