Rep Jim Jordan Explains The ‘Takeaway’ From Hunter Biden Case

Americans are rightfully outraged at what appears to be preferential treatment for Hunter Biden when it comes to criminal charges.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan recently spoke out on the matter, stating that the Department of Justice ran this case in a “ridiculous way” and that it was yet another example of how our justice system has become politicized and two-tiered.

During an interview, Jordan shared reports that Hunter Biden agreed to plead guilty to a pair of misdemeanor tax avoidance charges and that he may not serve any prison time for a felony gun charge.

Jordan was outraged at the “sweetheart” plea deal, saying it was yet another example of how the country’s justice system has become politicized and two-tiered.

“I think the big takeaway from last week is nothing has changed at the Justice Department. I mean, John Durham told us how bad it was, that it was all a lie, Crossfire Hurricane. He told us they got incredible intelligence that said this whole thing, the Trump-Russia narrative, was from the Clinton campaign. So, the intelligence is credible enough that he briefed the president, the vice president, attorney general, the director of the FBI puts it in a memo,” Jordan said.

The first son was charged with failing to pay any taxes on around $1.5 million in income for two straight years as well as lying on a federal gun background check form about his past drug use and addiction in order to purchase a handgun.

The Ohio Republican was particularly frustrated by John Durham’s report which revealed the investigation into Crossfire Hurricane – Trump-Russia narrative – originated from the Clinton campaign despite credible intelligence being gathered on it enough so that it was briefed to President Trump, Vice President Pence, Attorney General Barr, and Director Comey who failed to share this memo with agents handling the case.

A whistleblower came forward claiming they were denied information they should have had. This only serves as further proof of how wrong our current justice system is operating when it comes to providing special treatment or preferential treatment for certain individuals like Hunter Biden who now seems unlikely he will face prison time for his charges due to such a sweetheart plea deal offered by prosecutors.
