I get what Walsh is saying about apology. However I can not say I’m giggling.
I see the irony, maybe, in an outrageous dramatic tone that conventional author Rod Dreher called “the 9/11 of the Libs,”: 9/11, naturally being one of those remember-where-you-were-that-day experiences different generations recognized at the Pearl Harbor assault, John F. Kennedy’s murder, the Challenger surge and even the deaths of Elvis or Michael Jackson.
Without a doubt, my thoughts relating to the rescinding of Roe v. Wade sent me back to memories of hard-working, specialized ladies from Colorado Right to Life whom I on a regular basis interviewed while doing a talk program there in the 1980s.
Besides their intense initiatives in those days, what were they thinking upon the rescinding, I wondered.
