Last week, The Washington Post’s net culture press reporter, Taylor Lorenz, doxed the confidential owner of the preferred Twitter account “Libs of TikTok.” Doxing describes publishing personal determining information concerning a private person, generally on the net.
The reaction against Lorenz was speedy as well as strong. She was extensively slammed in the traditional media. However the Message, whose paradoxical slogan is “Democracy dies in darkness,” stood by its press reporter and her story.
An editor from the newspaper released a declaration that read, “Taylor Lorenz is a thorough and established journalist whose coverage approaches comport completely with The Washington Article’s expert standards.”

YouTuber and podcast host Tim Pool was specifically irritated by Lorenz’s stunt as well as assumed it required to be attended to. He floated the concept of buying a billboard in New York City’s Times Square to publicly troll the sanctimonious journalist.

I would not care if they just possessed it but the gaslighting should have a proper reply

A series of quick messages show up at recurring intervals. The complete message reviews, “HI THERE WAPO, DEMOCRACY DIES IN DARKNESS. THAT’S WHY WE’RE SHINING A LIGHT ON YOU. TAYLOR LORENZ DOXXED @LIBSOFTIKTOK.”

They consisted of a web link to private job details and an address listed as Libs’ personal house
They existed about it so I got an advertisement in Times Square calling them out

Lorenz countered on Twitter:
Tim Swimming Pool and the CEO of the Daily Cord took out a giant signboard in Times Square today in an effort to reject my coverage on …
