Elon Musk warns ‘game over for America’ if Democrats sweep

Elon Musk sketched out a dire scenario if Democrats win the White House, House, and Senate in 2028, calling it “game over for America,” according to posts on his account dated Oct. 30, 2026 and quoted by The Western Journal.

What Musk says he fears

In a post quoted by the outlet, Musk wrote that his “biggest concern” is a Democratic “clean sweep” in 2028, alleging they would:

1) Make Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico states to gain a Senate majority; 2) “Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority”; and 3) “Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority.”

He added, “This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word.” He followed with a separate line: “It would be game over for America.”

His political ask

Musk urged readers to back Republican Senate candidates, writing that “all that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029,” and, “That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one,” per the same report.

Context the source cites

The Western Journal article points to the 2024 Democratic Party platform, quoting that Democrats “unequivocally support statehood for D.C.” and “promote full civic and political representation for Puerto Ricans.”

It also cites The Hill’s reporting that Rep. James Clyburn said 13 Supreme Court justices was a “pretty good number.”
