According to Axios, “former Fox News host” Megyn Kelly has urged “Sirius XM host” Tucker Carlson to “breach his contract with Fox News” in the midst of a campaign to keep him from speaking out. Carlson, who is currently under contract with Fox News until January 2025, is reportedly working with allies to attack the network.
Fox News is allegedly willing to pay Carlson $20 million a year not to work, but Carlson “knows where a lot of bodies are buried, and is ready to start drawing a map,” a source told Axios. Despite offers from Newsmax and Rumble, Carlson is also considering starting his own “direct-to-consumer media outlet.”
“Here’s what I can tell you, the Carlson team believes Fox News is not negotiating in good faith,” Kelly said while pointing out Carlson’s camp is encouraging a Fox News boycott.
“If they lose a month to MSNBC, heads are going to roll over there,” Kelly said about Fox’s ratings. “They want Tucker to just sit there on his couch and just cash his Fox checks and basically be immobilized by Fox News.”
Afterwards, Kelly criticized Fox for cancelling Carlson’s show without giving any explanation, stating that if the network had a valid reason to terminate him, they could simply keep Carlson from speaking out and terminate him without compensation.

Kelly proceeded to share her personal experience at Fox News, revealing that she intentionally chose not to sign a non-disclosure agreement upon her departure from the network so that she could express herself without restraint.
