In the state of Georgia, one of the most contentious and meaningful Senate races of 2022 is coming down to the wire.

Incumbent Democrat Raphael Warnock is getting hammered by GOP talking heads over his reckless spending and liberal agenda, with ads running in the Peach State nearly 24/7 detailing the Atlanta Pastor’s plethora of pork projects.

On right is the Trump-backed former football star Herschel Walker, who is currently being bombarded with the full weight of the liberal media machine, over salacious claims about paying for a former partner’s abortion – an allegation that Walker has vehemently denied.

Now, Walker’s campaign is getting a massive shakeup, after the athlete-turned-politician accused a key colleague of leaking personal information to the press.

Republican Georgia Senate candidate Herschel Walker’s campaign fired political director Taylor Crowe on suspicion of leaking to members of the media, two Republican sources with knowledge of the events confirmed to Fox News Digital.

The decision comes a month before the 2022 midterm election, with Walker responding to a report that he urged an unnamed former girlfriend to get an abortion, and reimbursed her $700 for the procedure. Walker denies the report.

The story itself has conveniently evolved after Walker’s denial.

The New York Times reported Saturday that the woman now says Walker urged her to get a second abortion, and that he ended their relationship in 2011 when she refused. Fox News has not independently confirmed either story.

Prior to the abortion “scandal”, Raphael Warnock was holding a slight edge over Walker in the polls, but seeing the former NFL’er so viciously maligned by the media could help to galvanize his support.
