Doug Goldsmith| Daily Presser| OPINION| The Kansas City Chiefs began their Super Bowl title defense on Thursday night, unfortunately falling to the Detroit Lions 21-20.
However, this game has sparked a debate across America due to the NFL’s decision to play “Lift Every Voice and Sing” before the national anthem. This song is regarded as the “Black National Anthem.”
The NFL has prioritized placating extreme, politicized voices instead of focusing on fostering racial harmony and patriotism.
This trend began in 2020 when BLM and Antifa protests erupted following the death of George Floyd at the hands of a white police officer.
In an attempt to escape criticism, The Kansas City Boys and Girls Choir was asked to perform the song “Lift Every Voice and Sing” during that season.
A BRIDGE TO FAR: The NFL has replaced the United States National Anthem with a black national anthem.

If so, they clearly made an error in judgement. The audience’s displeased reaction was evident as the boos rained down following the children’s performance.
