The reason that the ever-progressive Democratic Party decided to run Joe Biden in 2024, (despite his deep and obvious personal reluctance to the idea), was that they thought that the former Vice President might hold some sway over midwestern moderate voters – particularly those who were beginning to tire of Donald Trump’s bombastic behavior.
And so, coming into 2020, Biden needed to exude trust, stability, and calm on the campaign trail: Three things that were certainly not present in abundance as reports began to trickle out regarding a certain “laptop from Hell” belonging to his son Hunter.
Oddly enough, the FBI had been warning social and mainstream media platforms about a potential “Russian misinformation” campaign when the news hit, leaving some outlets with too many doubts to report the story in good faith.
But now that we know the truth, that the Hunter laptop story was really real and networks such as Twitter suppressed it, the White House is attempting to classify the wild story as a “distraction”.
The White House dismissed Monday new information released by Twitter regarding corporate decisions during the 2020 election to censor stories and posts about President Joe Biden’s son Hunter.

“That is full of old news, if you think about it,” White House press secretary Karine Jean Pierre said during the daily briefing, when asked for the White House’s reaction to the new information unveiled by Twitter’s new CEO Elon Musk.
And that wasn’t all:
“An interesting or a coincidence, if I may, that he would so haphazardly — Twitter would so haphazardly push this distraction,” she said, pointing to the “rising volume of anger, hate, and antisemitism on their platform.”
Jean-Pierre accused Musk and Twitter of “letting it happen.”
“Look, what is happening, it’s not — it’s — frankly, it’s not healthy,” she said. “It won’t do anything to help a single American improve their lives.”
Elon Musk’s free-speech-centric approach to taking the reins at Twitter has already irked the liberals, who’ve been enjoying a left-leaning slat on the platform for years.
